Our year nine students took part in their Surf Lifesaving Bronze Medallion camp last week, in preparation for their community service surf patrols over the summer.  NB: don't mention Baywatch to them or you'll receive blank looks and realise how old you are!

Thank you to the Apollo Bay Cricket Club for use of their facilities during the VCE exams and thanks to our chief supervisor Wendy Varcoe and her assistants Laima Clegg, Brian Mackenzie and Sid Caddy.

A great weekend of camping was had at Bimbi Park last weekend, thank you to Mel Howell and her helpers, Frank and Katrina Fotinas and the pizza chefs.

Congratulations (or should I say felicidades?) to Ella Summers and Jane Nicholls for receiving academic awards in Spanish from the Victorian School of Languages – only 9 out of 150 students received these in the state.

Year 8 students headed off to the Glenelg River today for their week long canoeing and camping trip and the annual challenge of eating a dry weetbix in less than a minute. Caution: only try this under supervision of another sensible person.

Presentation evening is next Tuesday 15th December for Junior School from 5-6pm, Senior School 6:45-7:30pm at the Leisure Centre.  A BBQ will be held in between.

Transition day for Junior School students is on Wednesday 16th December, which is also the last official day for students.  They are able to attend Thursday/Friday if needed, however, so pack their cleaning outfits (joking...a little bit!).

Lost Property – if you're missing any items get yourself in to the BER deck to have a look at the bin before it goes to the Op Shop next week.
