Swimming Sports; VCE & Junior School Info Evenings; Plexi-pave & Shade Sails; Study Group; Surf Cadets; Discover Sailing

This week the students in year three up continue to hone their swimming prowess in the pool in the lead up to the Swimming Sports next Wednesday the 17th of February.

Information evenings are being held for VCE and the Junior School school parents.

The new plexi-pave surface is being completed for the junior area and the shade sails are up – hooray!

Study group for year 5 and up begins this week where students are encouraged to do their homework before it is due and help each other with assignments. I expect the social aspect and plate of fruit helps too.

Surf Cadets begins again this Thursday – students in Year 3-8 get the chance to practise their boarding, swimming and surf lifesaving skills.

And in keeping with the water theme of this week's column, the 'Discover Sailing' program also kicks off thanks to the Apollo Bay Sailing Club for providing this terrific opportunity.
