State Sailing Champion; Yr11&12 Melbourne Trip; Sports Day; Magazines Wanted; Yr9 Grand Prix Excursion; The Princess Bride Rehearsals

Morgan Stewart competed in the Victorian State Sailing Championships in the Laser category and finished 1st in her division, 2nd overall female (open) and 9th out of all men and women overall. What an incredible achievement!

Year 12 and 11 English and Media students head off to Melbourne to be part of the audience for The Weekly with Charlie Pickering.

Sports Day will be held this week, with students running, jumping, leaping and cheering their way through various events. Results will have to wait until next week.

Robyn in the library is looking for magazines for the older students to read.  Titles such as Frankie, Tracks, Paper Sea, The Smith Journal, Time, National Geographic, Molly Makes…if you have any that are less than 12 months old that you have finished with – please let us know.

Year 9s head off to Melbourne on Friday for a Grand Prix ‘Driving Learning Education Program’. If you’ve ever tried to calculate the velocity of a racing car…you’ll know it’s not an easy feat.

Rehearsals have begun for this year’s production of The Princess Bride…as you wish (book reference if you’re wondering).
