18th April 2017
Yamaha Band Giveaway + Guy Sebastian Concert; Yr3 Camp; GOR Running Festival Volunteers

We will start with the big news in case you haven’t already heard it. Out of all the schools in Australia who applied, we were the one to be awarded the $90,000 grant from Yamaha in the shape of musical instruments and teacher training (yes, that’s a lot of recorders). A special thanks to music teacher Sam Seabrook for driving this amazing project. See further details here.

As part of our prize, we will be hosting a special event - Guy Sebastian will be giving a concert and presenting the instruments at the Leisure Centre on Wednesday 3rd of May from 4pm. All interested people are welcome to attend, more details will follow as they arise.

Our Year 3 students went on their first overnight camp off campus, heading to Bimbi Park for some adventures.

We are still hunting for volunteers for the GOR Running Festival, if you would be interested in manning a drink stall or sitting on a deck chair, please come into the front office and choose a spot on our roster – or ring the front office.
