11th September 2017
Yr9 Melbourne Camp; VCE Excursions; School Fete; End of Term

Our Year 9 students headed off on the annual Melbourne camp where they carry out research into a topic of their choice, including data collecting from the unwitting city public.

Year 12 students go on a biology prac excursion to GTAC to participate in a very sci-fi activity. Namely this involves inserting a gene for fluorescence into bacteria resulting in it glowing under UV light. Stay tuned for glowing broccoli and tomatoes in a few years.

Our Ancient History year 12 scholars will attend a lecture getting them ready for the exam in November. And no, the presenter will not wear a toga…I asked.

The annual school fete will be held on Monday 6th of November – if you would like to have a stall at this event please contact the school. Otherwise just mark it on your calendar so you remember to come along.

Please remember school finishes at 1:30pm next Friday the 22nd for the end of term, it is also dress up day – wear your football colours (if you’re into that sort of thing, otherwise freestyle).
