9th October 2017
VCE Media Film Screenings; Yr4 Kangaroobie Camp; VCE Outdoor Rec Camp; Bees!; Monster Book Sale

VCE Media students completed short films as part of their assessment this year and will be holding a screening on Wednesday 18th of October 7:30pm. If you would like to attend, come along to school at this time and you will be directed to the screening area.

Year Fours headed off to Kangaroobie camp near Princetown. This camp is always a highlight of their schooling life, possibly because they get muddy, play Herbivores and Carnivores, ride in a trailer and eat really good food.

The VCE Outdoor Recreation crew also went on camp, their location being the other end of the state in Lake Eildon. They had a go at white water rafting and bushwalking, with lots of washing brought home.

There is a saying that goes something like ‘bees are the sound of the garden’, and our school garden just got noisy with the arrival of our first beehive. None of the bees have Working With Children Checks, so they won’t be entering classrooms (we hope!).

Book collection is continuing for the Monster Book Sale. If you get the spring cleaning bug, drop them to the school end of the Leisure Centre.
