Council Funding Opportunities
The Colac Otway Shire Grants Program 2018-19 provides one-off financial grants to assist in funding projects that benefit the wider community and help in achieving goals and outcomes consistent with Council’s objectives.
All categories require a matching contribution via cash or in-kind from the applicant on a dollar for dollar basis.
A total pool of $310,000 is available from the new Colac Otway Shire Grants Program from four funding categories:
- Community Grants Program
- Community Events & Support Program
- Small Grants Program
- Building Façade Improvement Program
How to apply
The program guidelines and application form will be available at colacotway.vic.gov.au under ‘Apply for a Grant’, Colac Otway Shire Grants Program’ under ‘Apply for a Grant’, Colac Otway Shire Grants Program’ or at Council’s customer service centres in Colac and Apollo Bay.

Applications open on Tuesday 3 April 2018 and close on Wednesday 2 May 2018.
Funding announcements are expected to be made at the end of June.
