Council making positive progress towards appointing new CEO

Mayor Chris Potter says Colac Otway Shire Council is making good progress on its recruitment process for a new Chief Executive Officer.
Cr Potter said almost 40 applicants applied for the position and shortlisting was currently taking place.
“Shortlisted applicants will be invited for interviews shortly,” Cr Potter said.
“We are confident of being in a position to appoint the successful candidate in December.”
Meanwhile, Acting Chief Executive Officer Robert Dobrzynski continues to lead the Council while recruitment is taking place.
