Public Notice - Apollo Bay Pool

Council advises the opening of the Apollo Bay pool has been delayed by approximately one week and will not be open this weekend.
Prolonged rainfall delayed the recent painting of the pool shell which was commissioned by Apollo Bay P-12 College in partnership with Council.
The delay to the works schedule impacted on Council’s ability to fill the pool and adequately treat the water to meet health regulations as well as test the filtration system.
The pool was filled last week and during the commissioning of plant an issue was identified with the pump.
To ensure the health and safety of patrons the pool will remain closed until the pump is repaired and the water can be treated to meet health regulations.
We’re aiming to re-open the pool next weekend (10 December) and will be sure to keep you updated on Facebook and our website.
