Support scaffold to go up at Apollo Bay IGA

Support scaffold will be erected within the next 24 hours by the owner of the Apollo Bay IGA building following a Council-issued emergency order relating to potential risks associated with a damaged verandah.
The work is expected to create a safe thoroughfare for public access to the building and footpath and to allow the premises to remain open.
Once the scaffold is erected, a structural engineer will consider the structure and determine whether the work is sufficient to ensure public safety is maintained during the repair process for the damaged verandah.
