COPACC Audience Development Plan - have your say!
October 10, 2018

COPACC is reaching out to the Colac Otway community to find out what audiences want to see on the main stage.

COPACC also wants to know what other cultural services will enhance our way of life, such as art exhibitions, masterclasses, children’s activities or outreach programs in our smaller towns.

An online survey is now available at https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/4578978/COPACC and Mayor Joe McCracken encouraged people to participate.

“This survey will help COPACC tailor its programs to our community,” he said.

“Whether you want more comedy, more drama, more CrossXpollinatioN or something completely new and different – this is your opportunity to have your say.

“COPACC is a facility that is truly valued by our community as a space to see high quality theatre, exhibitions, fantastic amateur theatre and more.

“This survey is about planning for the future to ensure COPACC continues to deliver what our community wants and needs,” Cr Mc Cracken said.

COPACC has received a grant from Creative Victoria to undertake research as part of a ‘Full House’ audience development pilot.

The first phase of the project included interviews and focus groups with a range of local people including secondary school students, the elderly and people with disabilities, parents of young children, community leaders and members of our arts community.

The survey is being administered by leading arts and culture research company Patternmakers, which is also undertaking similar Full House projects for several other regional Victorian performing arts centres.

People who complete the survey may elect to go into a draw to win one of two $200 IGA gift vouchers.

The survey is available from https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/4578978/COPACC and closes midnight Sunday 21 October.
